- Works closely with other IT groups and customers to define the system design and user interface based on customer needs and objectives utilizing Deluxe standards and industry best practices.
- Participates in all phases of the development and implementation process including code deployment and patch upgrades.
- Ensures the integration of the applications and all other supporting systems.
- Responsible for system tuning, optimization of information/data processing, maintenance and support of the production environment.
- Determine, communicate and resolve root cause for production incidents and problems.
- Implement and support strategic and tactical technical direction for system platform including application, interfaces, messaging, services, security and middleware.
- Assist in architecture and development strategies for future application development.
- Continuously improve system engineering processes and documentation of systems and applications
